Lenexa is often referred to as the “City of Festivals” because of the many history and food celebrations that take place here throughout the year. Students can compete in the annual Great Lenexa Barbeque Battle, enjoy Lenexa Community Days, and celebrate Lenexa’s title as spinach capitol of the world at Spinach Fest. When it’s time to buckle down and study, our students are able to take advantage of the award-winning Johnson County Library’s 13 locations, including the Lackman Library in Lenexa.
