Do You Qualify for Veteran Education Benefits and the Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program?

When you inquire about financial aid, our financial aid representatives will meet with you in person to determine your eligibility for veteran’s benefits, the Yellow Ribbon GI Enhancement Program, or other military benefits. They will also guide you through the process of identifying other appropriate grants and/or loans. Once you’re familiar with what’s available, our financial aid staff will help you to budget and plan for financing your education. They will walk you through the application process and let you know about important opportunities and deadlines.

The Brown Mackie College system of schools recognizes that there can be lags between the time a veteran applies for their veteran educational benefits and the time the benefits are received. Based on the documents the veteran has supplied, we will work with the veteran (and their family member if applicable) and can defer tuition, fees and book payments to the school until the Veterans Affairs paperwork is processed. While payments can be deferred the veteran is ultimately responsible for the charges.

With veteran education benefits, you can get on the path to a quality education.
